Cancellations & Refunds
How cancellations work for courses, workshops and memberships at The Art House.
Weekly meetups
Mend Monday, Coffee & Crochet, Sketch & Sip and the Kids' Open Afternoon are all drop-in. You pay on the day, so there is nothing to book in advance and nothing to cancel. If you can't make it one week, just come the next.
Ten-entry passes
The ten-entry pass for the Kids' Open Afternoon does not expire — use the entries whenever suits you. Passes are not refundable once bought.
Children's courses
Sewing for Teens and Youth Drawing & Painting are booked for the year — November to June inclusive — and paid monthly.
If you need to stop part-way through the year, let us know by the 15th of the month and we will cancel from the following month onward. The month you are currently in is still charged. These terms may change for future years; the terms that apply to you are the ones published when you signed up.
Sewing 101
Sewing 101 places cannot be cancelled, transferred or refunded once booked. The course is capped at five people, so a place held is a place someone else couldn't take. Please be sure of the dates before you book.
Day passes
Day passes are non-refundable once purchased.
Monthly membership
Monthly membership is a recurring payment. You can cancel at any time — let us know by the 20th of the month and you will not be charged for the following month. The month you are currently in runs to the end as normal.
If we have to cancel
Occasionally we may need to cancel a session — illness, a teacher unavailable, or something outside our control. If that happens we will contact you as early as we can and offer you either a place on another date or a full refund, whichever you prefer. To change or cancel a booking, call us on 053-424-1063 or send a message through the contact page. We will confirm in writing, and any refund is returned to the card you paid with.
